Butterscotch Self-Saucing Pudding
Ingredients
1 cup self raising flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
Sauce
2 tbsp golden syrup
1 1/2 cups hot water
30g butter
Method
Mix sugar, salt and flour.
Melt butter, add to flour mixture and place in greased ovenproof dish.
Sauce
Combine all ingredients and stir over low heat until melted. Pour over mixture in dish. Bake in moderate oven (180 C) for 30-40 minutes.
